Thank you for sharing- musician life is rich and yours a mother lode.
I also fondly remember sneaking into a mic check for the same new grass revival lineup in 77 at evergreen state college and hearing wicked path of sin. Blown away.
What a rich history and life story of a troubadour with a pompadour! so great to read these tales that go way back, to the beginning of your career, the start of Telluride festival, etc. thank you so much for posting these! must be amazing to look back and remember all of this, Tim- cheers from Port Townsend !
Tim, I’m really enjoying this history lesson. Thanks for the detail. I hope you and Jan are well. I’m in Nashville for a conference. Are you in town and playing anywhere?
I am amazed that you can remember all those names! I remember first meetiing you and Hot Rize at 1979 Telluride. I was hanging with the Gazette. I have pictures of some great back stage picking. I wish I had all the notes! I'm enjoying your stories. Rick Gardner
